Angela Falkenberg
Angela Falkenberg is an experienced school and community leader dedicated to supporting students, educators, and families in building capabilities, resilience and optimism. She emphasises the importance of leading well and uses data-driven, high-impact strategies to foster positive cultures and wellbeing.
Currently the President of the Australian Primary Principals Association, she has also been a principal of three primary schools and held various leadership roles in secondary schools and system positions, including wellbeing and literacy leadership.
Angela's career began in First Nation education in the NT and has focused on addressing educational disadvantage. She has led a healthcare project in neonatal nurseries and served as the president of the charity SIDS and Kids SA. With a master's degree in special education, she is a lifelong learner and a rational optimist.
